Horrible place. Practically killed my poor little brother. Put him through aggressive chemo and then just discharged him and sent him home with a staff infection. Had to be rushed to harris methodist with low BP and no white blood cells to battle the staff infection. Sadly he passed less than a week after the chemo. This place never even called to check on him and then had the audacity to call my mom and ask where he was for his next round of chemo. This place sucks, your just a dollar sign to them.

The only star in this review goes to the MD Anderson Integrative division, which we had to seek out, no thanks to the corrupt oncologist at MD Anderson. They strung my poor loved one along for months and months, always being reactive instead of proactive with his care and concerns with getting into a clinical study....they even botched his initial biopsy, how can this be, which caused further delays?!! This may have been a great institution initially but it's all corrupt now, they don't stand up to their patients in the face of the pharmaceutical companies conducting studies. Don't place your hope here, first God, and then do your research and get as many opinions as you can from other doctors, especially God fearing ones. They don't care if you are young and dying with young kids, they are too scared to do what's right here. When my loved one was finally, after so much work, "fit and able" enough to do the clinical study, he LOST his place in the study, no warning at all. We spent thousands planning on staying for months and they strung us along with just all of a sudden whapping us in the face with this unexpected news. They should be ashamed, and I fear what God has in store with them for treating humans with less care than the animals in the initial part of these clinical studies. Shame on MD Anderson!

Worst hospital for cancer! Stay away from this medical institution if you want kindness and compassion.
We are just another "record number" for them. To change an appointment for a day and time I want is a "tour de force" every time I call. Because they don't even call you to ask you what day you can make it in the first place. They don't care where I'm coming from or the hours I'm driving to get there. The people at valet parking are more decent than regular employees. Oh... how much they love that federal government insurance!

Accompanied a patient for an echocardiogram and appointments for shots. Spacious waiting area with easily accessible outdoor seating available. Used valet parking three times. Smooth process from beginning to end. Highly recommend using valet parking to reduce stress of appointments.

Wouldn't go anywhere else! Everyone is always so helpful and they try their best to accommodate me with my appts since I'm 5 hrs away. So thankful for all of my MDA team, especially Dr Pohlmann.

I cannot recommend MD Anderson enough!! From the first phone call until the follow up call they have been nothing but kind, professional, helpful, and beyond competent. They were not on the ball they were in front of the ball with getting everything set up and approved etc. I hope no one ever needs their services but if you find yourself, family, or friend in need of testing or treatment you are in great hands here. I had such a pleasant and positive experience I am actually considering an annual trek to Houston for my yearly preventative and precautionary testing. It was definitely worth the trip to get the best testing from the #1 center in country allowing me to sleep at night once again.
