great school, great teachers but they nickel & dime over every expense, as if the tuition wasn't already very expensive. Easy to get into business program since they don't have entry exams. Tuition for 2024 masters per class is about 3800 per class. $60 to enroll in a payment plan (LOL!). Parking per sem is 75 or 125$ for the year, they don't mail out the parking passes so you have to pick up from the campus police office which is open 8am-5pm Mon-Fri; for graduate students who work full-time and travel occasionally for work and only have weekends to run errands, it can be a bit of a hassle to find time to pick up the pass. they currently don't have the technology to read the license plate and see if its registered - so why do even have to put our plates in the form when purchasing the parking pass? overall, brilliant teachers, so-so facilities, very expensive everything. but they don't require an entry exam for masters so there's the positive.

Amazing school. I would go here every day to study for my medical school entrance exam and the library staff would never tell me to leave, even though I was not a student at this institution. This place will forever hold a dear place in my heart. Thank you for providing me space to study and further my education. I'm in medical school now and may be using your facilities in the near future. Thanks!

Top-notch academics; by the time you graduate you'll be surprised at how much you know. My UD education made the the world richer, better, and bigger-- not with fancy programs or buildings, and not with try-hard school-sponsored activities-- but with great books and excellent professors.

Though University of Dallas's student body is 80% Catholic, I have never regretted going here as a non-Catholic student. Contrary to what some of the reviewers below have written, professors and students for the most part are open to other ideas and beliefs. The professors here are excellent for the most part, though often difficult. UD's Rome program is rightly ranked one of the best in the nation, combining challenging and relevant academics with lots of travel time and great class trips in Italy and Greece. Camping in Ireland and Wales over Ten Day (spring break) with some of my buddies was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had as were our trips to Greece, Pompeii, and Poland among others. Overall I would say UD is great place for anyone who wants a thorough and excellent education in the liberal arts and who wants to get to see the world in one of the most fun contexts possible.

Graduated from here in 2009. BA in English concentration in painting. I love their academics (Liberal Arts core curriculum unlike any other), Rome program, Catholic character, and a great community where I made life long friends.

After transfering to the Univeristy of Dallas, I look back and realize that it was one of the best decisions of my life so far. Here at the university there are so many like minded individuals who constantly strive to better themselves both academically and spiritually. Right from the get go I found that the academics were unmatched in addition to athletic programs which allowed me to be a full time student athlete. Our unique Rome program also contributes to our amazing university in that it allows any student, no matter what major or sport you play, to attend for a full semester. While studying abroad you learn life lessons in addition to obtaining invaluable experiences with your close friends and peers. Looking back, these past years have been an amazing experience that have helped shaped who I am today.
