I had my Berta Bridal Couture wedding gown altered by Dorie, and I was blown away by how perfect it turned out. I was very anxious and hesitant to leave the dress with anyone given how delicate it was with invisible netting and hand sewn flowers. I was tentative that her shop is located in a condo instead of a true store front at first, but do not let this sway you.

I had a single fitting with Dorie, trusted in her professionalism, positive reviews, and years of experience, and came back 8 weeks later to a dress that fit like a glove. Dorie is so skilled that after a single fitting, everything was perfect. She took her time during our initial fitting, spent almost an hour with me, is exceptionally detailed, and hand drew out a sketch of my dress with all of the planned alterations. The job required her to put in cups, shorten the sleeves and take them in (which required her to remove the flowers from the delicate netting and resew them on), add a 3 point 6 layer bustle, and take in the waistline. She is very responsive and usually answered me within minutes via text with any questions or concerns I had both before and after meeting her.

Everything was flawless. Trusting your wedding dress with someone is anxiety provoking, but I would take my dress here again in a heart beat and I am glad I chose Dorie. I highly recommend L’Mode if you are looking for a wedding dress alteration specialist.
