As a patient during the second half of December 2022, and now an outpatient … all I can say is it’s a win -win. Thank you, Kessler.

I have been dealing with Alyssa and Chuck at the Wheelchair Clinic. They have been so patient with me during this process. They set me up with a great prototype to try out, answered all my questions and tried to understand everything I would need not just today, but within the next few years. My mother had to come here after some brain trauma and was a horrible experience from being there 10 minutes. The staff here does not want the family to be here or to be involved. I went up to my mother’s room and there was not one person at the nurse station and no one to be found. My mother was not mentally able to make her own decisions. I was told that if she said she didn’t want to shower than they would not force her. Basically if your there for three weeks then no shower for three weeks.
The staff is rude and unfriendly. The day of pick up I walked with my mom to the bathroom and the head nurse from physical therapy asked my husband why are you here and you can’t stay here. Where was he supposed to stand. He was in the hallway waiting for me to come out of the bathroom with my mother. I have never in my life dealt with such rude undereducated people. I can’t imagine they have any reasonable degree. Maybe they attended clown college. It’s clear that there is no leadership here and the nurses and aids just hide and don’t do anything. It’s sad that so many sick people are treated so bad. The only staff worth wild are the physical therapist.

I’m going to piggyback off what the last lady stated! It’s true.me and my husband has spoke to patients here and YES they pick and choose who can stay(we were in a bad situation transportation wise and they treated to call the police and I guess the head nurse Lisa smh)let’s just say they don’t care! So cold hearted and I can’t wait to leave,especially when me and my roommate just found out we are almost family,calls my husband son etc and SHE DIDNT CARE and is very confused as to why they did him like that!! I watched my husband stand outside in the cold,sorry but we already know their are exceptions made for SOME PEOPLE(I guess I don’t fall into that group)and Kessler you can blame YOUR OWN SECURITY STAFF for letting us know “the real deal”…we experienced that today for sure! I could say everyone in PT,OT is absolutely AMAZING!I love them and they will take care of you..oh but everybody else ESPECIALLY the people making decisions plz don’t ask for ANYTHING they don’t give a damn just as cold and thoughtless and heartless as ever!I hated seeing my husband standing outside(I was looking out my window)while I figured something out,how to get him home safely..so awful! Horrible experience and horrible taste in my mouth

My physical Therapist, Danielle Baloga, was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to clearly explain treatment progress and listen to all my concerns. Very fortunate that I was assigned to her for this treatment.

Simply put, I love this place. The employees never fail to uplift your spirit and make you feel valued. They are the most caring thoughtful people I have met. It’s such a joy coming to a place you know you are going to be taken care of physically and mentally. I owe my recovery to Kessler Institute for rehab. True heroes in every sense of the word.
