This cooking class in Tuscany offers a unique experience to cook and share authentic Italian food in a beautifully restored kitchen, dining room, and gathering place that was once the site of the Chef’s great-grandfather’s olive press and his home.
We had prosecco to start, with cheese, honey, and olive oil tastings. Then Chef Giuseppe described the dishes we were going to make from the ingredients we collected with him at the market that morning. He led the instruction and cooking, and we could do as much or as little assisting as we wanted. Finally, we shared the delicious meal we had created together.
On this chilly day, the fireplace was crackling, and Chef Giuseppe’s warm hospitality and delicious local food and wines made it feel like we were gathering at a friend’s house for a dinner party. The limited class size makes for a personalized experience, and we all left with new experiences, new recipes and new friends. Highly recommended!

What an incredible experience! Guiseppe was a fantastic host, we could not have wanted for more. He had a relaxed and welcoming vibe in a beautiful setting, the mill is absolutely stunning and he had fantastic attention to detail in all areas. The Olive oil, cheese and focaccia tasting were delicious and also wine & Prosecco were provided throughout. Guiseppe’s cooking class has been the highlight of our trip and we would love to visit again!

We spent the day with Giuseppe and his wonderful staff yesterday. What an amazing experience! Chef taught processes and techniques we will take him to make the dishes in our own kitchens. The food was incredible and made with prime, locally sourced ingredients. If you love to cook, or just want to experience excellent, traditional Italian food, prepared by a master, Extra Virgin is for you!

An absolutely fantastic experience! I could not recommend Guiseppe enough, he was a brilliant host and teacher. My family and I visited today and cooked a variety of delicious food and drank incredible wine. Would love to go back!

Our family had an amazing time in this cooking class. Giuseppe is a wonderful host and chef, extremely knowledgeable and connected with the food and history of Lucca and the Tuscany region. He took us on a wonderful shopping tour before we return to his lovely home and perfectly appointed kitchen. We tasted and learned about olive oils, focaccias, wine amx Prosecco and learned cooking skills and techniques. It was great fun to learn about Giuseppe‘s life and passion for cooking and get to know the other class participants.
Great balance of cooking, guiding and enjoying food and conversation. Highly recommend!

Giuseppe is an incredible chef and an even better host. He met us at the train station and coordinated taxis for our large group to his beautiful kitchen deep in the hills. The food was delicious, the Prosecco was flowing, and our bellies left full and satisfied. Don’t hesitate to book a class with him.
