Ho frequentato questa scuola per una settimana ed è stata un'esperienza fantastica! Ci si sente a proprio agio fin dal primo secondo perché Andrea ti accoglie a braccia aperte e con il sorriso sulle labbra. Io stessa sono un'insegnante (di tedesco come lingua straniera) e posso dire che gli insegnanti fanno un lavoro fantastico e sono allo stesso tempo professionali e divertenti. Le classi sono piccole (nel mio caso tra i 3 e i 5 partecipanti) in modo che gli insegnanti possano rispondere in modo ottimale alle esigenze di ciascuno. Non mi sono mai annoiata, non sono mai stata sottoposta a sfide eccessive o insufficienti. La scuola è molto flessibile e semplice nel rispondere alle richieste. Durante questa settimana, ho imparato più italiano di quanto avrei mai immaginato. È davvero un posto speciale che si sente un po' come una famiglia. Ci vediamo presto!

I was at this school for a week and it was a fantastic experience! You feel at ease from the first second because Andrea welcomes you with open arms and a smile on his face. I am a teacher myself (of German as a foreign language) and I can say that the teachers do a fantastic job and are both professional and fun. The classes are small (in my case between 3-5 participants) so that the teachers can optimally cater to one's needs. I was never bored, over- or under-challenged. The school is very flexible and uncomplicated in responding to requests. During this week, I learned more Italian than I would have ever imagined. It really is a special place that feels a bit like a family. See you soon!

I spent two days with Academya Lingue and took the “under the porticoes” private lessons. They were AMAZING! I got to explore the city and chat in Italian with two different instructors who were both very patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable.

The school also has group activities, and Monday afternoon I went on a tour covering the “secrets” of Bologna. Academya Lingue made my time in Bologna incredibly special and I got to experience aspects of the city that I otherwise probably wouldn’t have known about.

The school has wonderful staff and a very positive vibe. Andrea, the director, is so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this school!

If I could, I would give Academya Lingue ten stars! My husband and I spent one week at the school this May and when the week was over, I was already making plans to come back again next year. From the moment we arrived, Andrea, the Director of the school, made us feel welcomed into the Academya Lingue family. He and the entire staff did everything possible to ensure that my husband and I were happy with our class and the level of instruction. Our teachers, Giordana and Roberto, were warm, funny, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Their teaching methods and style put maximum emphasis on interactive learning. Our Italian improved more with them in one week than in several weeks back in our school in the USA. We also took advantage of many of the optional after-class activities that were offered. They presented another opportunity to spend time with our teachers and classmates and to practice our Italian while learning various aspects of Italian history and culture. After reading all the 5-star reviews online, I changed my plans and booked a week of study at Academya Lingue... I did a week of group classes and a few private lessons. I couldn't recommend it more highly! Andrea is so lovely and welcoming, and the teachers were all great. I had an amazing time and look forward to returning in 2026. Grazie mille! 🙏

(Lo provo in italiano) Che gioia e che piacere! Purtroppo sono rimasto solo per una settimana. Andrea e la sua squadra sono incredibili: ogni giorno si siente l'amore e la passione per la scuola. È come una grande famiglia con un grande cuore. Non sei solo uno studente, sei un amico. Ho imparato moltissmo (sempre con un sorriso) non è stato mai una noia. Mi mancano i mie "allenatrici", quindi tornerò sicuramente. Una raccomandazione al 100%. A Presto!

Vielen Dank an Andrea und ein tolles Team! Jeden Tag spürt man die Begeisterung und Leidenschaft für die Schule. Eine große Familie mit einem großen Herzen. Die Kurse sind super organisiert, man kann jederzeit das Niveau wechseln und man lernt mit viel Freude. Es gibt Privatstunden und Konversationstraining, Freizeitempfehlungen und Exkursionen. Die Schule befindet sich im Herzen von Bologna und man wird als Freund empfangen. Ich war nur eine Woche dort aber ich komme wieder! 100% Weiterempfehlung.

The teachers here are all so kind and really know their stuff. Andrea and his team do a marvellous job at teaching students Italian- a particular shout-out to Arianna who is incredibly personable and knowledgeable.

It’s such a wonderful setting to learn in as well that you really enjoy every second of ‘going back to school’. The building itself is breathtaking and its location in Piazza Santo Stefano is second to none.

I would recommend this school to anyone, without hesitation.
