Her classes are fun as well as informative, she is helpful and patient if you don't understand something, and she regularly includes historical or cultural references that help explain or add to our understanding of the language. Michela is calm and extremely patient while teaching, my Italian is noticeably improved. The material used is also very good, with a variety of formats used which aid the learning, she is also very good at allowing lessons to take a natural course to aid and encourage talking, while never losing sight of the learning outcomes.

I started taking Italian lessons on Zoom with Michela a year ago.
I thought that taking an online class would be a different experience and I was a bit anxious that I would miss being in a classroom with other learners.
But Michela did an awesome job at making this online experience interactive not only with herself but also with other students.
She uses a large variety of activities that makes her lessons as enjoyable as instructive.
On this journey, you will learn how to speak Italian but also so many interesting facts about Italy.

These Italian lessons have been great fun and I would definitely recommend them. I have particularly enjoyed the little insights into everyday Italian culture that Michela introduces into her teaching. The pace of learning is not too fast and is probably going to be suitable for most people. The lesson topics and vocabulary covered are also practical and will be of immediate use. Previously in Italy I was limited to a few basic phrases relating to food and drink, but now the mystery of Italian verbs and adjectives is beginning to open up before me. This has already given me more confidence with the spoken language. Now all I need is for my health to improve sufficiently such that I can visit Italy again and practice on the locals.
