Our family has 3 NCSA student athletes . . . 2 NCSA alums / college recruits + 1 currently being recruited. In short, I cannot more highly recommend NCSA as a/the key partner and enabler for the aspiring college athlete to successfully achieve her/his recruitment goals.

My oldest/daughter is a senior for a perennially Top 5 ranked D3 WLax program (school also happens to be among the top small liberal arts colleges in the country) . . . where she's started since Game 1 frosh year. The team has advanced to D3 Final Four each of these past 2 seasons; with an 'almost' her frosh year, losing a humdinger in the Qtrs. She had multiple attractive upper tier D1 looks, but her priority was fall semester abroad (Copenhagen) . . . which she loved. Net net, she's at the right school and playing for the right program. My daughter/we in no uncertain terms could/would have 'gotten' there, were it not for the close advisory partnership with Coach Jesse and NCSA, and its multi-layered services offering.

My youngest/daughter in the end opted to not play field hockey in college--she realized along the way her greatest passion interest was to attend a "big football school" (she is and loves). Nonetheless, she fielded multiple quality D3 opportunities. Once again, the entire NCSA experience was efficient and wholly effective, and the associated NCSA process mitigated the normal anxiety associated with intensive and often complicated college recruiting.

My middle guy is a coming-of-age junior hockey player during the global pandemic era. 2yrs high school hockey then 2yrs boarding school hockey . . . and now in his 3rd and final year of juniors. Suffice, he/we experienced multiple 'new and unusual' twists and turns along the way. Coach Conall (and Coach Alec before) has been instrumental in helping us navigate these rocky shoal waters. Injury aside, my son will be playing quality junior hockey this time next year . . . and, matter of factly, there is zero chance he will have gotten there without the close collaboration with NCSA and Coach Conall / Coach Alec.

Jim Henkel is our hockey recruiting coach. He has been amazing! Hockey is unique in that you don't usually go to a D1 school from high school - you have to go from high school into the "juniors" program, from which you can get recruited into college hockey. That is a confusing, opaque, complex, ever-changing system. On top of that, all the information you get at camps, online, etc. is followed by the tagline, "but it's different for goalies." So, as a hockey goalie parent, I would be no where without the advice of our coach. He's been a college coach and a juniors coach, so he knows exactly what coaches are looking for. He knows who is who and what is what. And he is very responsive for all the crazy questions that come up. I would not want to be doing this process without access to someone as amazing as Jim!

We've been with NCSA since our son was in the 8th grade, he's now a junior. We've been very please with their services and the recruiting coaches have been great. The workshops have been great and very informative.

The coaches at NCSA have years of experience in playing, coaching, and recruiting college sports. They make themselves available at convenient hours, they answer any and all questions, and they guide the student and the parents through the strange maze leading to college sports participation. Marco Carvalho has been patient and supportive with us, and we’re glad to have him as our guide.

I would leave zero stars if I could. We are from Canada and this cost us almost $5000.00 Canadian. Only to find out that you cannot get financial aid if you are not from the USA. So even with scholarships etc it left nearly 32000.00 Canadian a year for school. I do not recommend spending a dime on this. You can access all coaches emails online and do not need this. We heard from our recruiting coach all the time the first month or so and then nothing. We got where we needed to be without NCSA, just wish we hadn’t wasted five grand for false promises.
We also came across coaches contacting us that with further research are not even belonging to the schools they say they are from. BEWARE save your money and put it towards education. We are so saddened by this experience and will deter anyone we know to save their money .

NCSA has been extremely professional and helpful in our journey to help our son play in college. They are constantly in touch and offer so many ways to learn about the process. I highly recommend this program.

We recently joined NCSA and have been very impressed with how helpful they are in helping us match our son to a college that best suits him academically and athletically. In particular, Raquel Vescovi has been very attentive to our goals, as have others along the way. Frankly, with the scholarship potential along with simply finding the right match for our son, the cost of NCSA is an incredible value. We highly recommend it.

NCSA is an essential tool for all families who seek to open doors for their student-athlete’s.

As parents, we can’t walk through those doors for our children, but we can certainly unlock them. NCSA provides the missing element for successful recruitment by guiding both athletes and families to the right doors, showing them which ones to unlock and which ones to pass by. And, this information is not intuitive, cannot be found in what once was our parenting-bible baby books, or gleaned from online research. This is a subject matter that requires a level of expertise that we, as parents, simply do not possess. NCSA tailors every aspect of their work to each particular student-athlete, as the recruitment process is certainly not a “one cleat fits all” formula.

You will soon learn that NCSA assigns each family a personal coach, whose role is tailored to meet the needs of each specific student-athlete. As such, our family has developed an incredible relationship with our Coach, Adam Gardner.

Coach Gardner is our mentor, the expert that we rely upon and seek out, and our guidepost, never failing to properly guide each of us through what is objectively an incredibly overwhelming process.

Having Coach Gardner not only on our side, but as our guiding hand, has afforded our family an immeasurable sense of relief, ease of mind and confidence knowing that our student-athlete is in the very best hands of them all.

I not only highly recommend NCSA as an essential tool for all families interested in recruiting prospects for their student-athletes, but strongly urge you not waste even one more second hesitating over this decision.

By allowing NCSA to join our recruitment efforts, we have successfully fulfilled yet another inherent responsibility that we owe to all of our children, as when we unlock a door, we’ve given our children the gift of opportunity, access, and ability to effect the entire trajectory of their lives.

Our ability to impact the future of our children is fleeting. Don’t waste another second hesitating or debating this decision. Do it now. Your only regret will be not calling upon NCSA sooner.
