I stumbled upon ISWMP looking for a friend for my dog. When the original dog that I was interested in didn’t turn out to be a match for my family’s dynamic, Liz suggested Alvin (now Nacho). I love how thorough the adoption process is with ISWMP and that they require a follow-up with a trainer (who is also great).

Nacho has been such a great addition to our family. He’s the easiest puppy that I’ve ever had and with the exception of a few growing pains he’s getting along great with my other dog!

If I’m ever looking to adopt another dog, I’d absolutely go through ISWMP again.

I am able to give this organization a five star review without hesitation. Every step of the adoption process with them was exceptional, and the care that the members of the team have for the animals they work to find homes for is apparent through the generous amount of aftercare and support they've dedicated to us since bringing our lil' guy (featured in photo) home.

The process of adoption itself was friendly and communicative, with the ISWMP Coordinator we worked with (Liz) making herself available to any questions we had along the way. The community of people this organization has built is full of genuinely wonderful people as well, and it's been so helpful to have trusted folks to go to, in lieu of blind searching for services we hadn't used with our previous dog.

For example, the session we had with the trainer they connected us with after adoption which was extra helpful, especially because our pup is SO young, and provided us with both assurance and guidance that we really needed. The team's medical coordinator is an angel, and has made the process of scheduling procedures, that he was too young for at the point of adoption, smooth and easy.

If you're looking to welcome home a new furry family member, or have been searching for an org run by truly decent people to support, this is the place!

My family has fostered 4 dogs for I Stand With My Pack and each experience has been fantastic. The people I have had the pleasure of interacting with have been professional, responsive and helpful. Each time we have fostered they have provided us with the basic supplies the dog would need. What I love most about ISWMP is their dedication to saving the lives of dogs and doing absolutely everything they can to give dogs the best life possible. Our most recent foster turned into a foster fail ❤️. The adoption process was very smooth. They really have it down to a science. I can’t recommend them enough and highly encourage people to follow them on social media and volunteer to foster or donate to them, if possible!

I’ve fostered twice now with I Stand With My Pack. Both times were incredibly rewarding & wonderful experiences. This rescue does such amazing work & they are wonderful to work with. While I was fostering, they supplied everything the dogs needed.

I got so much out of my fostering experiences. The dogs were wonderful & gave me back 10 times the amount of love I gave them.

It’s hard to let foster dogs go, but it’s so rewarding knowing you can play a small part in them finding their forever homes & living their best lives possible.
